EMT Fitness – Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the EMT Fitness app (Android) developed by the EMT Fitness Team. We are committed to protecting your privacy. We do not sell your personal data to any third party or advertiser.

What Data Do We Collect?

• Account Data: Name, email address. When you sign in with Google, we receive your name and email address from your Google account.
• Health & Fitness Data: Weight, body measurements, body composition, calories, exercises, reps, workout weights, and diet plans.
• Usage Data: Chat interactions with your trainer, food and exercise logs.
• Audio Data: Voice messages recorded and sent within the chat feature between you and your trainer or admin
• Technical Identifiers: FCM (Firebase Cloud Messaging) tokens for notifications, crash logs, and connection status.
• Device ID: We collect a unique device identifier to prevent abuse of the application and the unauthorized creation of multiple accounts. This data is not shared with any third parties

How Do We Use Your Data?

• To provide and track your personalized nutrition and workout plans.
• To enable communication with your assigned trainer and send important notifications.
• To improve app performance and troubleshoot technical issues.

Where Do We Store Your Data?

Your data is securely stored via Google's Firebase (Firebase Auth and Cloud Firestore). All data in transit is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols.

When Do We Share Your Data?

• With your Trainer: Health and fitness data is shared solely with your assigned trainer to monitor your progress.
• Service Providers: With Google Firebase as an essential infrastructure provider.
• Legal Compliance: Only if required to comply with a legal obligation.
• Audio Data: Voice messages recorded and sent within the chat feature between you and your trainer. (Please note that this feature is exclusively available to active clients who have been approved by the app admin

We do not sell your data to any third-party advertisers.

Account and Data Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data at any time. You can do this in two ways:

• Using the "Delete Account" button inside the app: your data is deleted immediately and permanently.
• By sending an email to emtfitness.help@gmail.com: we will process your request within 30 days.

We may retain certain data for legal or security purposes for a limited period only when strictly necessary.

Data Retention

We retain your data as long as your account is active to provide and improve the service. Your data is deleted immediately when you delete your account from within the app or when sending us account deletion request via emtfitness.help@gmail.com . We may retain certain data for legal or security purposes for a limited period only when strictly necessary.

Security

We use Firebase Auth, Firestore Security Rules, and App Check to protect your data from unauthorized access.

Your Choices and Rights

• You can enable or disable push notifications from your device settings.
• You can request a copy of your data or request its deletion by contacting us at emtfitness.help@gmail.com.

Children's Privacy

Our app is not intended for or targeted at children under the age of 18 .

Required Permissions

• Notifications: To send meal, workout, and chat alerts.
• Internet: To sync data with our servers.
• Local Storage: To cache data temporarily when offline.
• Microphone (RECORD_AUDIO): Required exclusively to record and send voice messages in the chat. This permission is restricted to officially activated clients. We do not record audio in the background or use it for any other purposes.
